    Sun Spot 1589

Sun Spot 1589 is coming into view towards earth. NASA and the like are watching very closely. It is a monster and they are hoping it keeps activity low.

    When?
    I am me,
    I am free,
    You can not change me.

If you try, you will see,
    That I am unchangeable,
    Because I am me.

SP 1589 is a large sunspot that is rotating at this time around towards earth. It may or may not be active. Hopefully over the next few days it will stay calm and not be very active.

Nasa has a cool web page devoted to space weather.

    Hope that helped.

I know what it is...I was asking how to read the data. I didn't see a legend there to break everything down. Thanks.

Ok looking like if it's gonna give problems it will be tommorrow and early Monday. There is a 35% chance of strong flares...if all is ok by tommorrow evening, the worst will be over.
