I must live under a rock.
I've never head of this.
Looks like a great (i.e.-less messy) alternative to the vaseline cotton balls.................

I had a tube of that years ago. May still have it somewhere. I post back if I do. It worked well. Just be sure and keep the tube in a ziploc in case the tube splits. It would cause a hell of a mess.
Heard of it, seen it for sale, never tried it.
Like BP says, could create a serious mess if it leaks, partly why I never got any.
That's me. Matches, several strikers, some lighters. I have a Fresnel lens, and hear they will start a fire rather well, but have yet to try it.
actually, it looks likes it's just a more complicated ( expensive ) version of some homemade napalm ( Gas and styrofoam )
I never thought about it but I wonder how hard it would be to get some of that into a old toothpaste tube.
I might look into that for my bob, but then again you might as well just buy it off of REI lol.
Very nice. I think that we need to start a thread/post stickied somewhere with the links to all the neat stuff like that. Let me think about it.
Never seen it before either. My biggest concern is that it would dry out/evaporate before you needed it. It drives me nuts to grab a brand new tube from a patch kit to fix a tire, pop the sealed top open, and have an empty tube. grr!
Give a man fire, and he'll be warm for a day!
Light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life!

If you're going to fight, then fight like you're the third monkey on the ramp into Noah's arc... and brother, it's starting to rain.
I had something like this a few years back but it dried out. I don't know if it is the same stuff. Make sure that it is properly sealed. I agree with bacpacker keep it in a Ziploc.
I would suggest testing a squirt of it in a ziplock first. I know things like deet disolve that plastic like it isn't there. not sure what this would do.
