Improvised medical kit

Alright guys I will be using this thread to share my knowledge on cheap and inexpensive ways to improvise medical bags. I will be using my knowledge from wilderness medical classes and EMT along with Fire College. Since I can't do my career I shall share my knowledge to keep my memory up on it and to help all of you.

Some of the things I will be going over are:
Tourniquets
Leg and Arm Braces and slings
Backboards
Improvised C-Collars
Burn care
Improvised Sleds
Survival communication
Wilderness survival

I think this will be a good thread for all of us. Lets keep this on topic and growing so others can learn and understand how these improvised items work and where to get them to put together a cheap but effective medical kit.

I'm looking forward to this thread. Medical is my weakest area of prepping. I have some good supplies, just lacking the knowledge.
