    This isn't looking that great.
very well could escalate into another widespread shooting war.
Need to keep an eye on this folks. It could affect us locally in several ways.

yes, I see this. I just hope the Israelis steamroll the West Bank and the Gaza Strip and reclaim what is theirs. And steamroll Egypt if they shoot anything else into Israel.

Egypt is being a tad cocky on this, as well as Turkey. Even if either one gets involved, bad things are coming. I dare say not of both.

How would it work though, if Turkey, a NATO member, got into a shooting war with the Israelis? Would the whole NATO "come to the aid of our allies" thing go into effect once the first bullet, shell, mortar, whatever, was fired at them via the IDF?

Not to mention Syria, where it seems BOTH sides are fairly anti-Jewish State. What would happen there? Jordan seems to be fairly U.S. sided at times, but would there be another "Arab Spring" awakening, a more of a call to arms for the Muslim states to bring their power down upon the Israelis? I know this is fairly deep in the mud, but really, it's something that could very well be in the pipe.
