Looking for a new "key to the city" wrecking tools.

    Been looking at these...

Or this....has hydrant wrench....but for the coin could go for hooligan tool...

    anyone ever used either?....any suggestions?

I generally keep a sledge hammer and a wrecking bar in the vehicle....I did have a battering ram in there but it was too much weight vs benefit.....and the officer that saw it gave me $50 for it..... (I've made many of them.....going to make a replacement and have it Linex coated.)

I have the short version of the one on top. I have not tried using it to open anything yet, just used it for general wrecking stuff.

I never really cared for breaching with the Halligan tools.

    I much prefer this:

Iz, that's more 'key to the kingdom' than the city.

i have used something similar to it. can't remember what company made it. it was made to straighten floor joists, but was hell on tearing things apart.

I like the haligan bar for entry we use them all the time.

The TNT is pretty nice too but very heavy. http://tnttool.com/

If course I just love a pick head axe for a good cheap all around tool with other uses also.

    Yeah. I wish.

I'd take it. Hop in the back. I just happen to know how to drive it.

    Its fine to have one,
Its fine to be proud of it,
But please dont whip it out in public and start waving it around,
And PLEASE dont try to force it down my children's throats.

Not over compensate, I just don't want to have to get to a job only to realize I should have brought the BIGGER hammer........
