Thread: Freezedried, dehydrated, how long does this stuff really last?

    sorry for the late posting guys, my camera took a dump, the soup smelled like burnt rubber or just plain ole nasty, maybe it was mental but I couldn't hold it in my mouth without the smell really getting to me......something was wrong cause all the water didn't mix into the dry soup mix, some stayed on top, also there was a quick to form skin on the surface as it cooled, not like other soups

    the color should have been the dead give away, it was a lot darker, just like the 2 year old Mac and Cheese I tried to make a month or so ago, the orange cheeses powder had turned brown.......if I get a chance after the holidays I get a new package of the same soup, take some pics and compare....

    Time to recycle those expired preps, I guess. And by recycle, I mean feed to the chickens, lol. They will eat anything, and I will eat them (or eggs). Greatest recycling program EVER, except for the scraps-to-bacon program using pigs
