Give a man fire, and he'll be warm for a day!
Light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life!

I look at those turkeys. . .. and my stomach starts grumbling!
    RELIGION IS LIKE A PENIS
    Its fine to have one,
Its fine to be proud of it,
But please dont whip it out in public and start waving it around,
And PLEASE dont try to force it down my children's throats.

Nice Helo! I have always heard that turkeys were hard to hatch, but as never had them I had no idea. Were thee her own eggs and what breed is she?

Yes they are her own eggs. We thought she got killed because she was missing for 6 days. My son found her near the house and she was on these eggs. She is a cross between a Bourbon red and a royal palm.

Great! I think that the commercial breeds are the stupid ones.

4 of them are doing great. The mom killed the rest of them by stepping on them and leaving them out in the cold. We have decided to sell our turkeys and just stick with chickens and ducks. The hatch rate is just too slow on turkeys and geese.

Helo, I've heard that turkeys and geese are hard to raise, but having no experience I don't know. Thanks for your experience! It keeps me from making mistakes!
