    Burn Kit

    BurnFree Personal Burn Kit

Pretty good deal on some personal burn kits from beprepared.com. Thought I'd pass it along.

IMO....A burn kit is one of those quiet little overlooked items that get--well--overlooked. (a must have though)

I may know a guy (cough, cough) who has a few of the gel gauze that were in a kit placed in helicopters.

If you are looking at first aid then these kits are okay. If you are looking at the long term for something like you BOL then you will need a bunch more supplies. When I got burned we were changing the bandage twice sometimes three times a day. I like the water jel initially. There are some more advance antibiotic gauzes that is good for healing. The most important thing is make sure that you have as much of a sterile environment as possible. You will not believe the amount of supplies you will go through for a burn.
