my wife says I'm too accident prone to have a bike.
She did not, however, say that I couldn't ride someone else's............

I still only have my cruiser. The bike above is a KLR 650, and the new object of my dreams! lol
and riding isn't so bad. We could do this in you back yard where a fall wouldn't do as much damage

I own an '09 victory kingpin. Was just now outside tearing her down for some upgrades. I am installing a Lloydz airbox, VFC 3, Conquest Customs Ground pounders 3, Ride Wright rims (Fat 50's radial laced red on black rims). These were my xmas and birthday gifts from the wife.... NOT CHEAP. Oh and the rims are gonna be wrapped in fatass white wall tires =))))
I will post pics. But even with all this she still aint gonna be done, but its a solid start!. I still want to order the saddle bag brackets I saw someone come up with that lets you mount the hardbags off of a Victory cross Country onto a Kingpin. Then I buy the hardbags themselves and a Fairing and sound system and new seat. THEN comes the pinstripping and lettering.... then she is CLOSE to done!

Those KLR's are a beast. One of my friends, his brother, & dad all had KLR's and loved them. The dad shipped his to Alaska to take a month long ride with a friend of his.
They are probably the best for true dual sport riding. I'd love to have one.
BTW, Love that special helment Izzy.
I've been checking them out for a bit now, and discovered the military adopted and adapted them for their own use. I'd love to find a JP8/ Diesel model once I'm ready to get one. 96 mpg on a 4.2 gallon (I think) tank is almost 5 times the range my gasoline bike has, and I don't have the off road capability either.
Now excuse me while I wipe the drool off my chin.

That bike is sweet! I just rode today for bit. I would have wore my Izzy helmet but didn't want to attach the flag...lol. I have a guy coming next week to look/maybe buy my bike (then it will be time to look for another one)
Be ready now, you won't have that chance later.
