In Search Of:
Water bladder or bag, thick and heavy/durable.. but without a straw, not wanting a "hydration bladder".
I want something that folds and packs neat, bug mouth, but is only a storage bag... 2 or 3 liters.

Nalgene makes soft canteens, and platy does too. I'll see what I can find for sizes and links

When I searched myself, all I could find is hydration bladders with straws, and of course I found some Platty, but they had nothing I liked... The Nal bladders are EXACTLY what I was looking for!

no problem. I really like my nalgene bladders. I have the 96oz wide mouth model. They have a ring built into them to hang them from a carabiner
