When you talk about gardening, most people think outside, yard, lots of dirt, large space, but you don't have to have that. Some people even say I can't have a garden because i don't have time.
Well it really doesn't take much time to work this garden. Everyone has a sunny windowsill that gets at least 4 hrs of sun right? So you have the space for a garden, a windowsill garden. Think about it, all you need is a few idea's to get you thinking on your own about how you are going to do it yourself. So here is some of my idea's to help you.
Things you might need:
Jars of any kind ( I'm sure you have some in your fridge that you can empty)
dirt
seeds
water
Vintage mason jars are the ideal containers for a kitchen herbarium. They're inexpensive and attractive, especially on a sunny windowsill, and will provide you with a year's supply of fresh seasonings. Almost any herb can be started from seed in a mason jar. Chive, thyme, and rosemary are excellent choices. When they outgrow their space, you can cut them as needed, or transplant them into a larger container or into the garden.
Ok I hope you get the idea now and take the time to enjoy your garden. It takes the same amount of time to water your windowsill garden as it does to put water in your coffeepot to make coffee, Your at your sink anyway, right?
