sitting back with a cold one, and listening to the pop, pop, pop, of the snap lids on a batch of fresh canning. Never fails to bring a smile to my face.
what little thing brings you happiness?

Give a man fire, and he'll be warm for a day!
Light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life!

If you're going to fight, then fight like you're the third monkey on the ramp into Noah's arc... and brother, it's starting to rain.
That same exact sound! Listening to our chickens cackle when they are eating some scraps we took them. maybe my two favorites, watching a beautiful sunset or sitting around a bonfire and watching it burn.
Now that my woodshed is built... it is time to start filling it. This fall is going to be filled with bonfires (tops/branches). I too, love that experience!

Happiness is the simple things.....the sound of my 3 little girls giggling and playing together (instead of fighting, which seems to be what they are usually doing), a good cup of coffee (Sonic makes perfect coffee, eat your heart out Starbucks!), brand new socks, still fluffy and soft.....and yes, I would agree with the aforementioned bonfire, but add it's better under the stars, and perfected with someone playing guitar, who hopefully can harmonize.
Oh yeah, most of all, happiness is a finalized divorce

Happiness is silence and darkness. They both relax as you hear the sounds of the night and await the morning dawn to a new day.
Happiness is waking up
I am me,
I am free,
You can not change me.
If you try, you will see,
That I am unchangeable,
Because I am me.
