Ok, I remembered a book that pretty much launched my interest in Wilderness Survival when I was very young, Like 4th grade. I HIGHLY recommend this book for kids, it's about a kid that basically gets himself into a widerness survival situation and his journey home to safety. This is truly, probably the first book I ever read cover-to-cover. It's out of Print, but available online. I read this book in school when I was daydreaming and not listening to the teacher, I think she didn't care that I took it off the shelf and read it quietly as long as I was quiet. lol
