    Boston Trip

The General and I went on a day trip to Boston. We did the freedom trail before and we wanted to do some harbor activities. Of course we went straight to the Boston Tea Party museum. The venue was very informative and interactive. The tour included walking onto replica colonial ships that held the English tea. The living quarters were the bare minimum to put it nicely. Barely enough room to walk around. I would have been waaaayy too big to be on that type of ship. We got to throw replicas of tea boxes into the harbor which was a lot of fun. There is an actual tea box from that day on display there. Very cool to see a piece of history in front of your eyes. It was nice to learn again what started the motions for our independence. If you are ever in Boston it is worth checking out along with the Freedom trail tour.

Listening to the curator tell us the events that led up to the night of the tea dumping and I couldn't help but think if the Sons of Liberty try to organize something like that today, DHS MRAPS would be tearing down the wharf and arresting/beating all involved and presenting them with a one way ticket to Gitmo.

Good times there! I spent some time down in Virginia and took some free time and visited historical battleground and cemeterys. Needed to get some introspection and perspective back in my life, it sure helped!

    RELIGION IS LIKE A PENIS
    Its fine to have one,
Its fine to be proud of it,
But please dont whip it out in public and start waving it around,
And PLEASE dont try to force it down my children's throats.
