yeah but when I fillet I never get any rib bone at all anyways. looks like just another lazy invention to be honest.

The principle is neat though and I get how it works but I would rather someone just learn how to use a knife right.

I am thinking someone like Helo, who raises fish, or for when I go on one of my derby weekends, and may have 50 or so fish per day to clean.

ooooooo good point. but we used to do tons of crappie when I grew up in indiana and we just did it in 2 strokes to get the majority and that was good enough.

Looked like there was a ton of meat that he ripped off when he removed the ribs. I don't think that would work on some of the fish down here though.......

For true OPSEC, all I can say is this was taken somewhere in the Caribbean......

no sadly, our grill was out of gas and due to regulations it couldn't be cooked in the galley. Had some nice sashimi though.

I actually prefer my tuna raw. I was eating this guy as I was filleting him so I'm right there with you.

me too, and that goes for many more fish than tuna. by the time I'm done filleting, I'm usually full. Love having a bottle of red hot sauce on the filleting table!

I am pretty sure I can do it faster with a sharp knife.
