    Hydra-Gel

I buy potting soil with this sometimes but it is crazy expensive.

    I really like this idea!

    And remember... gently used!

I hate to tell ya, but you got promoted because I declined the offer and you were the last on the list.

    awesome!

here too, especially with all my raised boxes. I'm going to try a couple as an experiment. identical boxes, identical seeds and planting times, one with this mixed into the soil and one without.

T, if your going to do the experiment, do it proper... document everything and take daily pix... make a report and lets see what the control and the hydra did side by side. Id be interested in the results!!!

Im thinking herb garden for the wife, maybe some sprouts to gnaw on.

Im also interested in hydroponics for things like tomatos, etc.. but Ive hardly got time for forums, not sure how that interest will pan out!!

that's exactly the plan EB. I am planting several garden boxes 2'X2' of asparagus every year. this year, I'll do one to one, side by side. I might do the same with another veggie, but don't know what yet. Maybe I'll split my pea box 9'X9' and do half and half. My worry, is I have to do them in close proximity, to ensure a fair comparison!

I would try it down here but almost nothing survives the salt air from all sides. We tried planter boxes but everything just died as soon as it sprouted. I have yet to find a anywhere south of the mainland that does GOOD gardening.
