    Gunauction sites

I have the General's Beretta Tomcat that the she wants to trade in for a 9mm. I want to sell the Beretta to put towards a 9mm (don't know which one) and was wondering if anybody has some good experiences with selling their firearm online? I've been looking at putting it up on gunbroker in hopes of getting more money than if I took it to a local gunshop. Clue me in, is it worth it?

Look around online and see what they are selling for then minus about 20%. Most people on gunbroker only list them on there as they sit in their shops, hoping some idiot will buy a used gun for new prices or a new gun for higher than MSRP. I'v sold stuff on there but http://www.gunauction.com/ seems to be more reasonable as far as buying prices and finding deals. It just isn't as well known so a lot of dealers don't bother with it, plus you can do a LOT more specific search on it.

Do yourself a favor and test fire an M&P 9. The first time I fired one I fell in love with it (M&P line), sold everything I had (except for my 357 wheel gun which is going in my casket) and went M&P 40.

    Thats all Ive got...

If those other sites dont work for you, check out www.armslist.com Lots of folks listing used guns there, wanting to either trade, buy, or sell them. Its one of my "go-to" sites when Im bored and want to see about scoring a possible deal.

    Its fine to have one,
Its fine to be proud of it,
But please dont whip it out in public and start waving it around,
And PLEASE dont try to force it down my children's throats.

I would caution on ARMSLIST, I have done very good deals on there but ONLY ACCEPT CASH and get written receipts for all sales and trades with Make, Model, Serial, Date, Signatures from both and their Drivers License Number. I have bought guns from two people who later tried to get them back by saying I stole them.

What's the purpose of the flip up barrel?
Give a man fire, and he'll be warm for a day!
Light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life!

    Cat's are food... not friends!

If you're going to fight, then fight like you're the third monkey on the ramp into Noah's arc... and brother, it's starting to rain.

My wife has a .22 caliber Tomcat. The barrel accepts the first bullet and is Semi after that. I assume the .32 is the same. For her with weakness in her hands, it eliminates having to raick the slide.
Hers is a nice little po kettle pistol. I would buy another.
