    Carbonating water

Someone mentioned on another thread about carbonating water, and the first thing I thought of was one of these:

    http://www.sodastream.ca/shop/produc...products_id=28

And I have been looking at them, but they seem so... limited.

So I've been doing a little more research and came across this website, which is a more universal and more McGyver version:

    http://truetex.com/carbonation.htm

I'm not too sure about how making drinks fizzy fits into the whole prep ideal, except to perhaps add back a degree of normalicy, or perhaps placating young-uns with a treat.

Then again, any pressure vessel, can be used in a offensive/defensive manner as well, depending on the contents.
Give a man fire, and he'll be warm for a day!
Light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life!

    Cat's are food... not friends!

If you're going to fight, then fight like you're the third monkey on the ramp into Noah's arc... and brother, it's starting to rain.

We used to add a bit of baking soda and vinegar to our soda when I was younger. My father would buy pepsi and it would go flat in a day or two so my mother added in baking soda and vinegar. (small amounts like a tsp of baking soda and 2 of vinegar) Gave it some fizz back and the pepsi was so sugary you could barely taste any difference.

No idea where they got the idea from but it seemed to do the trick.
