Give a man fire, and he'll be warm for a day!
Light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life!

If you're going to fight, then fight like you're the third monkey on the ramp into Noah's arc... and brother, it's starting to rain.
I used a cheap version a long time ago but I put a sterno in it instead of the solid fuel tabs. Tons cheaper that way.
I have a similar one of these in my loadout, with the dry spirit tabs, and with a dozen bars of mil-surplus trioxane. A couple of wood blocks on two continuous sides and the angle pointed into the wind would probably help out with windy conditions, and I imagine its utility is, as mentioned, for heating up relatively small items, regardless of the fuel.
