Yeah those are cool. Been wanting to get into FPV, but the cost is kind of high. The short range ones are cheap enough, but the ones that can go more than 100 yards are expensive.

WoW!! this shit blows me away!

I can see multiple uses. scouting game, recon, fun...

I really see this as a useful tool. and a fun toy combined.

    Very cool!...

Personally, I would like to hear about the carrying capacities of these things. it is great to have a camera watching, but it would be awesome to drop napalm, gas, acid, grenades, tobacco sauce, or whatever...

    imo

Depends on the size and how much you want to spend sniper. The small ones barely carry a camera, but the bigger ones can carry a good load.

Ive got 3 drones myself, and while I would love to brag about my flying prowess... im not all that. I started cheap, got the basics of it down, and went from 0 to full retard pretty fast. The plus side about them, they are pretty quiet and have camera capability. The downside, the farther out you venture and want to maintain camera FPV capability, the more you are going to spend. Great for recon, spotting targets, and if you can get them high enough, you can barely spot them in the air much less located them if you dont know they are there. Fun, hell yea... expensive... OH HELL YEA.

My son is a film maker and they have nice ones. They used to have to hire helicopters for some of their work, but now most is done with drones. They are amazing how fast, high, and how far they will go...like out of sight, so they use monitors. If they get too far out, the GPS takes over and it flies back to starting point and lands.

My buddy has one that cost over 100K. It will fly for 45 minutes and has a range of 5 miles. He uses it for video thermal/and regular videos of the chemical plants around here.
