for any of the "flame" type alternative lighting - extra especially if you have kids - I'd hot glue melt the candle holders, lamps ect ect to a bigger base like a kitchen cutting board - maybe glue them down to the bathroom vanity/nitestand/kitchen table for the duration to keep the kids from trying to move them ....
