The light is set up on a clothesline, so I can move it from one end of the plants to the other...

If you're going to fight, then fight like you're the third monkey on the ramp into Noah's arc... and brother, it's starting to rain.
That is some killer pepper plants. Mine never got more than 2' high. Had lots on them, but had to sit on a bucket to pick them.
