Give a man fire, and he'll be warm for a day!
Light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life!

If you're going to fight, then fight like you're the third monkey on the ramp into Noah's arc... and brother, it's starting to rain.
I just have the little taters which roll just roll down the barrel of most potato guns. Besides we are on the Left Coast, potato guns are illegal.

So if it is predictable and preventable then you better prepare.

Be decisive. Right or Wrong, make a decision. The road of life is paved with flat squirrels who could not make a decision.
I'm not sure what is going on this year. We have had a very dry late spring and summer, with the exception of two weeks ago when we had 4-5" of rain over three days. Our okra, jalapeno's, onions, taters, cabbage, summer squash, lettuce, blueberries, & mulberries have or are doing as good as they ever have. Tomatos, cuckes, & bell peppers are fair at best. The only thing I can think is that I was able to plant most everything in the right growing signs.
