    yep. my chokecherries are just starting to come ripe now too! Although I'm sad that I missed the pincherries, but I made up for them with the blueberries.

    I also found a primo location for rose hips too!

    an insane amount of sugar:



    and some lemon

    also added 2 pkg of Certo pectin...

    rolling boil for 45 minutes


    stirring and skimming

    and... done:




    Oh... and added in some diced Portuguese hot peppers to a few jars.
