This does work with all but high end locks
Give a man fire, and he'll be warm for a day!
Light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life!

    Cat's are food... not friends!

If you're going to fight, then fight like you're the third monkey on the ramp into Noah's arc... and brother, it's starting to rain.

yep... but I'm saying from experience!

short of picking it, the only way to defeat a high end lock is destructively.

And it really doesn't matter what you pay, I've seen some unshimmable $3.00 locks, and shimmable $50.00 ones.

several 'gentle taps' down on the body of a padlock with a hammer or an ax, will pop open every quality of lock without too much damage, but the high end ones will break inside and be unclosable again, where a regular lock will relock.

A good claw hammer also works
