    Wise food storage

I don't buy long term storage food, but some of you might. They lost a lawsuit.

If the charges are true, they should get burned.

Wise built a lot of their foods around TVP. I prefer real meat and not plant based. I understand people who want to limit their meat intake but I am not one of them. Why is it people keep wanting things that taste like beef, chicken or pork but wont eat the real thing?? If I am going to pay the prices they charge I want to have the real product that is proven. It is for this reason I stay with Mountain House. They came on the market like gangbusters so maybe they just grew too fast. No matter I have only tried a sample of their product and it tasted fair. As to long term storage you better make sure you like what you store or you might be in for a rude awakening. Too many people buy and never try and that is their mistake.

Helomech, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR POSTING THIS. If not for reading this here, I might never have known about this. I am one of the thousands that The Democrats so desperately want to know where I am. I am one of those who bought $$$$ of their product. I bought around 36-40, (4320 servings) cases of the food, ie. dehydrated meats, (yes, real meat) vegetables, fruits, entrees, breakfasts, eggs, and milk.
So, what do I do from here? I’ve gotten on the website for filling a claim. I wrote them some questions, and hopefully I will hear from them soon. If anyone else needs some information, here is where to go.

I've never bought it either, but will be cross posting this for people that I know have. Thanks for the heads up.

I have more info on the Wise Food class action lawsuit. There is good news, and bad news. The bad news is it only covers individuals who have bought food from Wise Foods or through a second party, while living in California, as the class action lawsuit is only being sought in California. And the good news...I don’t live in California, so it’s a fair trade.

A few years back I ordered a small amount of Wise. We sampled a bit, decided it was not that good. Glad I did not order more!

I didn’t care much for their so called cereal, a cross between oatmeal and granola. Not my style, but if I’m hungry enough, I guess it will be the best thing I had to eat that day.

Welcome to the forum jimLR. There are a lot of great people and a lot of great information here, I unfortunately don’t fit under either category. Just keep rember this important bit of info...keep your friends close, and your cats closer.
