When I was researching dehydrators I found her video's. Tammy's the one who convinced me I needed to go with the Excalibur and I haven't been disappointed. I even sent her a message via YouTube and she responded immediately.

I did end up purchasing two books from Mary Bell. She seems to be one of the first "Dehydrators" out there. The titles are Complete Dehydrator Cookbook and Food Drying with An Attitude. I highly recommed the first. It's an encyclopedia of how to dehydrate food...everything you can imagine. The second, while full of nice color photos, is full of "fluff" in my opinion. It's barely been touched since I got it while the other I use every time I dehydrate something.

As soon as I can I am going to make a solar dehydrator since the sun is our main power. I have the plans in my head and have to get them out on paper but I put it on here of what it will be compared to. I will be able to dehydrate a lot of food at one time as I get it from the garden. Since everything seems to ripen at the same time, I thought I will need something big.
