    Wild Rice

    technically it is a grain, not a rice, but it is yummy nonetheless.

    It grows wild in many lakes and rivers around here, but I'm hoping that when I get my back 40 developed I can put in about 15 acres of the stuff.

    Anyone else harvest their own?
