    Triangle Bandages

    Mental exercise.

How many uses can you think of for this venerable piece of first-aid kit?

If you think that come SHTF you are gonna jock up in all your kit and be a death-dealing one man army, you're an idiot - izzyscout

    I'm at 17 so far.

you can use them to immobilize extremeties, as compression bandages and improvised tourniquets. They can act as dust and water filters, provide sun and heat protection when worn as a bandanna and/ or immersed and placed around the neck. With a marker it could be used to make/ leave a durable note. Attached to a stick it could be used as a hobo sack or a signal flag. Put a stone in the middle for a primitive sling. You can either wipe your butt or keep your pants covering the same with it by lashing it on as a belt. I'd recommend doing that in reverse order though. A woman could use it as for her specific hygiene needs. Cutting strips could produce lashing material, trail markers, and/ or assist in fire starting. Of course, you could always use it as a lobster or bbq bib too!

    Stuff it for a pillow,
    Food storage...berry picking,
Face covering in snow or wind,
    Shoes instead of bare feet,
    Gag to keep someone quiet,
    Weapon mod..fix a knife to a pole,
Cocktail lighter..though you need fuel also,
Be ready now, you won't have that chance later.

filter for coffee or other liquids

    packing material for gaping wounds

wad a couple together for pillow
