In all seriousness, IV's and their appropriate solutions, (Ringers, D5W, Saline, etc.) could be the one thing keeping you alive one day in a trauma situation post SHTF... Its a great idea to have them on hand along with some other Trauma supplies...
It is, of course, obvious that speed, or height of fall, is not in itself injurious ... but a high rate of change of velocity, such as occurs after a 10 story fall onto concrete, is another matter.
