    The Road: movie review

Just watched it this morning for the second time.

Some parts are just "weird", but in retrospect given the time and circumstances, it may have been rational.

The cinimatagraphy is very good. The story is a little slow so its more of a drama than an action flick.

I give this movie an 8/10.

Its not the best movie Ive ever seen, but I highly recommend it.

I hope you enjoy it, its a good movie.

It drove me nuts that it never said what the disaster was!

    It is literal, or figurative?
    Sad, or happy?
    Angry, or calm?
Just black and white words on a screen.
Not like a conversation in person, with facial expressions, body language, tone of voice.

Still, we here pretty much slide along without issues.
Imagine how well we could get along in person.

Or, we would just think each other is a bunch of assholes

It was different to say the least. The only thing I did not think plausible was the prepper cache. I agree on it would have been nice to know what caused everything to go pieces.
If it is predictable then it is preventable....... Gordon Graham

So if it is predictable and preventable then you better prepare.

you mean the underground shelter that didn't look like it was ever used ..... not everyone that preps is going to live thru the initial days of a serious SHTF - hard telling what happened to those preppers .... tends to tie in with the cause of the SHTF

Are you talking about the 2009 movie with Charlize Theron and Robert Duvall ?

If yes, please no spoilers, I am getting it to view it.

Started it this morning. Almost fell asleep in front of it. Didn't see half of it and not sure that I will see the rest either.

Me too!! I read the book before I saw the movie, and it doesn't give up any more details either.
