Thread files...

Picked up two different sets of thread files for repairing damaged threads..on fasteners..bolts etc.

One is a metric thread file set...

The other is an SAE American thread file set...

Hence now i have both arenas covered.

I have in my garage both metric and SAE tap and die sets and have extensively used both in my labors...but a set of thread files also come in handy from time to time.

Often a project is come to a stop by a damaged bolt.....damaged threads...

This file set just helps to over come those obstacles often want to bring a project to a stop.

You would think that there would be more activity here and other forums with the goings on in the world.
Of course there is another thought I have:
That forums like this could be just intelligence gathering ops for L.E.

HEY! Over here! I'm back.......yes, due to people like me things have gotten dead. Guilty. In case I didn't say it. "Welcome aboard Centexdude!" We were pretty heavy back in the day. My back up flashlite is a rechargeable bicycle flashlight..and today at work I recharged it...

Also I recharged my cell phone and short wave set....as it too is rechargeable. I also recharged the spare batteries for the shortwave set.

Also recharged the spare batteries for my cell phone. I will not get a cell phone in which I cannot change/remove the batteries at my discretion.....


Tomorrow I will be doing a recharge/topping off of my Two Baofeng walkie talkies in my metal locker at work. Also recharging the spare batteries for the same.

I am trying to top off my truck and car gas tanks weekly and not letting them get below half empty.

Something has been telling me to do this for a couple of years now.


I am suspecting that we are headed for bad economic times...with the Huge government deficits incurred of recent...while the blame is placed anywhere but what caused it.


One of the fellows in my crew at work was telling me that in the trip he took to Miami, Florida ...he saw a huge number of homeless on the streets ...and of people middle to older ages......

I did not know Miami has a huge homeless problem.

If the government continues to cause huge deficits ..I see even retirement accounts going in the tank...due to inflation.

People will not be able to afford to live on retirement monies.

I think this has happened in nations like Argentina....and most of that news and info has been kept from us in America.


I suspect also that this is why the new guy got elected to office in Argentina...


I think this will need to happen here in America too.

Watching this storm Debby work it's way up the coast....and not expecting much up here on the Chesapeake Bay but Nonethelees making preps..

Picked up two cases of bottled water last night thought I also have five gallon water containers....also picked up several boxes of those Nutra Grain....bars.....one for each vehicle...one for here at home and one for my locker at work.

Need to be careful around here as it often seems when the weather or conditions get worse.....many people drive even dumber on the road..than under good conditions. Even if it means I need to take the long way home...the less traveled way.
