    It is, of course, obvious that speed, or height of fall, is not in itself injurious ... but a high rate of change of velocity, such as occurs after a 10 story fall onto concrete, is another matter.

    Today is my first day on this forum. As my name indicates, I am from southern California, near Pasadena. Like everyone else in the country there are a number of things that can cause a SHTF situation here. Earthquakes, brush fires, floods and riots are just a few of the possible triggers. I hope to be an asset to the forum.
