This weekend I'm taking a group of my like minded friends to do another test of our bug out bags. Nothing big just an overnight test run. We all meet, bug out, then hike out into the woods overnight. We're all pretty green so for the most part we're testing out our 24 hour gear. We plan to keep extending these types of trial runs until we get a full bug out plan in place. I'll probably get some footage on video and let you guys tell me all the things I did wrong.I find that's a great way to learn.
Got my CWP in the mail last week and picked up a new pistol for concealed carry.

This week I planted my first garden at my new home. It's pretty big and it's my first attempt so we will have to see how it goes.
I also picked up a DPx Hest knife. I will use it and post a review. I love it so far.

our morel season is almost gone. I planted some herbs for making medicine and a few for cooking. Our grapes, blueberries, peaches, pear and apple trees are all blooming so maybe we will have something from mother nature this year. The only garden I can have this year again is a container one so there won't be much planted. But we have a great farmers market here so I can still get fresh things and can this year.
