An interesting idea. I would imagine that you could *carefully* fold up some heavy duty aluminum foil and place it inside the can, along with the charcoal briquettes, and have it "ready" to go, except for folding the sides apart. And it would probably be smart to pre-cut the sides. If I was going to go through the trouble of doing that (with tin snips I suppose, or a saw), I would do a couple of them, just to have a few.

I have been wondering what uses a #10 can could have...besides using them for feed scoops for the animals, or using to protect baby plants from frost. I wonder if this would work for even smaller cans, with just one briquette. Hmm.......
