    Ever hear of vermicomposting?

Just saw an add on cl. Never heard of it. Looked on the web and it is just a fancy name for using worms to make your compost. Is anyone doing this? If you like to fish and garden then you might want o to do this.

I actually started on this last spring. Right before we got hit by the hail storm. I had them outside and the top got dislodged and filled with water. It was a couple days before I realized it. Ended up with a bunch of dead worms.

I have a good friend who turned me on to the technique. He was running 8 plastic totes and said they were mulitplying in around 3-4 months. He always fed them scraps ran thru a blender to mush it up.

I do intend to start this up again. I had a link to a good site to buy the worms, there was a specific breed that was considered the best for vermi composting, I will try to locate the site and I'll post it up here.
